Al Seef Heritage Hotel Dubai, Curio Collection by Hilton

I upgraded my room to a studio and loved everything about it.

Outside music that went on till 3 am or later.

Architecture and style

Hotel is infested with bedbugs.

Fun part of Dubai. Good to wander around and check out the river & shops (we visited in December when the weather is mild). Great breakfast. We had been warned about noise but, as promised, the music stopped at 11pm. Very comfortable bed, charming rustic decor.

The “old Dubai” feeling. The beds were very comfortable. The staff very attentive, they check via what’s app to see that you have everything you need. It is important to know that the hotel rooms are spread over 10 buildings and around the buildings there is the souk/market for souvenirs etc during the daytime.Apart from the hotel restaurant, there are other restaurants in walking distance. A short Uber/taxi drive from the airport(traffic can be bad the further South you go).The red line of the hop on hop off bus stops near the hotel.We went to the Arabian Tea House for breakfast( 10 min walk).

I liked everything. It was exactly what I expected.

The check in took very long even though we came lateOnly 2 check in staff at the reception and the number of the guests were too muchYou have to mention in advance that you want rooms in the same building if you were a family otherwise you might end-up in different buildings and you have to wait for the buggy to go from one building to another

Good but I was charged for an extra breakfast and could not get refund

The heritage concept the design of the architecture was alright.

The sheets felt really old , while we entered the room its was moist and humid . Also no carpets on the floor . Food served in the room without a table . Didnt feel like a 5 star hotel.

I liked the authenticity of the property.

Got lost several time, they need to have detailed maps. At night it’s almost impossible to find your way. Sad because the location is exceptional.

Huge rooms, very comfortable and clean. Decor from the old ways, even though everything is 20-25 years old in the whole neighborhood. Very nice breakfast.

Tooo noisy .. i asked for sea view but not one listen for my request and Balcony was to dirty ..

The market view rooms are really noisy especially at night. It was overpriced for what you get. Check in was late.

Room assigned to me was big and had the Al Seef view. Hotel was very accommodating, checking if there is anything I need during the stay.

This is a beautiful historical setting, but the hotel has all the modern facilities you could want, and everything was in good working condition, including excellent air conditioning and ample hot water supply.. If you are looking for marble bathtubs and gold plated taps, it is not the hotel for you, but I loved the quirky historical decor, and the views over the rooftops of the souk. You are surrounded by the market stalls every time you walk out from your room. and there is a good choice of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The hotel provided electric buggies to take guests to and from the rooms with their luggage, and down to the docks for the ferry crossing of the creek. The restaurant has lovely indoor and outdoor seating, and the buffet breakfasts were excellent quality. Service by all staff was exceptionally good. Ideal location if you want to see more of traditional Dubai, but easy to reach other parts of the city by taxi, or ferry across the creek.

The souk is winding and complicated, and the hotel is spread over five different historical houses. I would have greatly appreciated receiving a map on check in with location of the restaurant, reception and the lifts to upper floors, with my room location marked on it.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL place, in the Al Seef souk, about 15 mins from the airport, and just really lovely place overall. Super helpful staff.

Only thing I would say is wouldn't recommend this location for single female travelers *if* wanting to come/go late at night. Extremely quiet at night.

The old Arabian architecture, environment and atmosphere. The location was excellent. We were able to check into our room early.

No shuttle bus to the airport. We preferred the nearby Arabian Tea House to the hotel's own breakfast experience.

Interior, exterior, and overall experience takes you back in time and lets you detach to the fullest. Additionally, the fact that it is in the old town makes it a whole experience by itself - I'm definitely returning.

The ONLY thing was that the doors to the bathroom are designed like proper vintage wooden ones, and they make noise accordingly - hence going to the bathroom in the night may be a bit noisy ?
